Every person has the basic right in life to be equal amongst equals and for self-expression in a unique and personal manner.
It is our responsibility as a caring society to enable people with special needs to exercise these rights.

The Mercaz Cochav Association sees its task as creating a launching pad of opportunity and possibility for a process of development and personal strengthening among people with special needs as well as for children and youths at risk.  This process will lead to their integration and merging into normative life circles.
