BEAUTIFUL THINGS FROM SPECIAL PEOPLE

In 2008 a charming shop was opened at the Mercaz Cochav Center in Ma’alot displaying products produced by Cochav Center members.  Among the products on display for sale are beautiful objet d’art and household goods made from ceramics, natural paper, wood, etc.  The shop markets these heart-warming items made by persons with special needs working in occupational rehabilitation centers of the association.  For the rehabilitants work means a reason to get up and out in the morning and to experience ongoing pride of the products they make to the best of their ability and contribute to society.
At the shop one can find presents for every occasion – birthdays, gifts for the festivals, guests from abroad, special presents for special occasions, etc.
We invite you to convert your shopping into a social activity experience by purchasing these items of added value thus contributing to the community.

The shop was established with the help of the Shalem Foundation for developing services for persons with intellectual disabilities in the local authorities.
